Dashboard and navigation¶
The standard EspoCRM dashboard¶
Ebla Assets Management adds an Asset MS tab to EspoCRM's normal Home dashboard. It does not create a separate dashboard application. This means users keep the same dashboard tabs, editing behavior, preferences, and access rules they already know.
The installed dashboard template includes:
- Total, Available, Assigned, Maintenance, and Retired Asset counts.
- Software License, Component, Accessory, Consumable, and People counts.
- An Asset State Distribution pie chart.
- Recent custody and inventory activity.
- Asset totals by Location.
- Asset and inventory totals by Category.
Most non-zero counts are interactive. Select a KPI, pie segment, Location count, or Category count to open the corresponding normal EspoCRM list with an editable filter. You can then change the preset, add search conditions, export, or use an allowed mass action.
Navigation groups¶
Ebla Assets Management organizes its screens into focused navbar groups.

What a user sees depends on their Role and scope permissions.
Asset preset filters¶
The Asset list includes operational presets for:
- Deployed
- Ready to Deploy (RTD)
- Pending
- Undeployable
- BYOD
- Archived
- Requestable
- Requested
- Audit Due and Audit Overdue
- Check-in Due and Check-in Overdue
- Available
- Assigned
- In Maintenance
- Retired
- Other
Preset filters work with normal EspoCRM search. After selecting a preset, you can add field conditions, save a personal filter, sort, export, or switch back to All.
Other inventory lists also include useful presets:
- Licenses: Active, Expiring within 30 Days, and Inactive.
- License Seats: Available and Assigned.
- Maintenance: Active, Completed, Cancelled, Due Today, and Overdue.
- Accessories: Low Stock and Requestable.
- Components and Consumables: Low Stock.
Global search¶
Installation adds the main Ebla Assets Management business records to EspoCRM global search. Search remains role-aware: a user only receives records they can read.
Use global search for quick record discovery. Use the entity list and its filters when you need operational selection, export, mass actions, or a more precise query.
Personal dashboard behavior¶
The extension installs an Ebla Asset MS Dashboard template and makes its layout available as the default. If an existing user's dashboard does not show the Asset MS tab, an administrator should deploy the template to that user or their Team. See Deploy the dashboard.
Users with dashboard editing permission can still personalize other tabs unless a forced Dashboard Template assignment prevents it.
