Link One embedded form¶
Use this mode when one linked record should appear as part of the parent form. The linked record uses its own EspoCRM layout, but Link Pro renders it directly inside the parent panel without a nested-panel border or extra padding.
Configure the field¶
- Open Administration > Entity Manager > Parent Entity > Fields.
- Open the Link One field.
- Enable Enable Form.
- Choose the linked entity layout for view mode and edit mode.
- Add the Link One field to the parent detail layout.

Result¶
The linked record is visually part of the same Overview panel. It does not add a second bordered panel inside the parent layout.
Editing and validation¶
- Editing the parent switches the embedded record to the selected edit layout.
- Link Pro validates the embedded form when the Link One field is required or when the user has changed the embedded record.
- If the linked record is invalid, the parent save is stopped and the invalid fields are shown to the user.
- An untouched optional Link One form is not created only because it is visible.
For an existing linked record, access rules still apply to its fields and save operation.
