Create an API key

1. Open Google AI Studio.
2. Create or select a project.
3. Create an API key and copy it securely.

Connect EspoCRM

1. Open Administration > Integrations > AI » Gemini.
2. Enable the integration.
3. Enter the API key.
4. Click Test & Fetch Models.
5. Select a model and test again to verify generation.
6. Save.
7. Select Gemini under Administration > AI Settings > General when it should be the default provider.

Use a tool-capable model for CRM-aware Chat. PDF, image, structured-output, and image-generation support depend on the selected model.

Troubleshooting

• Confirm the API key and project are active.
• Select a model returned by Test & Fetch Models.
• Check regional or account restrictions in Google AI Studio.
• Review the related entry under AI Log.
